What is a Project?
A Project is a workspace for one property or one initiative. Documents, AI analyses, findings, and Next Steps live together for as long as the Project runs.
What kinds of documents can I upload?
Contractor proposals, inspection reports, insurance policies, HOA/lender questionnaires, disclosures, appraisals, permits, correspondence — most PDFs, images, and Office files.
Do you invent facts if a document is missing information?
No. Every AI output cites the source document and page. When information is missing, the output labels it as missing rather than guessing.
Pricing & trials
How much does BLDGDeck cost?
$59 one-time for a single Property Project (90 days of access), or a monthly subscription starting at $69 with a free trial.
Do subscriptions require a card up front?
Yes — Stripe requires a payment method to start a trial, but you are not charged until the trial ends. You can cancel from the billing portal before the trial ends and pay nothing.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades happen through the customer billing portal and use Stripe proration. Your data is preserved through any change.
Data & security
Who can see my documents?
Only you, and — on team plans — people you explicitly add to a Project. See the Security page for the specific controls we have in place today.
Where is my data stored?
In our managed database and object storage in the US. See the Privacy Policy and Security page for details.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual documents and Projects, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@bldgdeck.com.
