Not professional advice
BLDGDeck is an informational document and workflow assistant. It is not a law firm, engineering firm, inspection firm, real-estate brokerage, mortgage lender, insurance broker or agency, tax preparer, appraiser, contractor, or any other licensed professional. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes legal, engineering, inspection, lending, insurance, tax, appraisal, brokerage, contracting, or other licensed professional advice.
AI outputs may contain errors
The Service uses large-language-model AI to summarize documents, compare options, and propose next steps. AI outputs can:
- Misread numbers, dates, dimensions, or names.
- Miss clauses, exclusions, or footnotes.
- Misidentify the source of a fact or attribute it to the wrong document.
- Occasionally fabricate content that appears plausible but is not supported by the source.
- Be out of date relative to the source documents you uploaded.
Your responsibility to review
You are responsible for reviewing every AI output against the source documents, using the citations the Service provides. For any legally or financially significant decision — closing a purchase, signing a construction contract, filing a claim, taking or refinancing a loan, releasing money to a contractor, responding to a regulator — you should independently confirm the underlying facts and consult a qualified professional in the relevant discipline.
No reliance
Do not rely on any AI output as the sole basis for action. BLDGDeck disclaims all liability for decisions or actions taken solely on the basis of AI-generated content.
How the AI works
AI outputs are generated on demand by third-party large-language-model providers routed through the Lovable AI Gateway. Only the text needed to answer a specific request is sent. See our Privacy Policy for details on subprocessors and data handling.
